This is the story of a boy, who loves a girl, but has to do some pretty bad things to make enough money so that he can marry her. His conscious starts to weight on him heavily and he looks for salvation in the desert. But when salvation doesn't come, he brings about his peace the only way he knows how; to do to himself what he has done to so many others in his wake.

Love and Poverty
Written by Christopher Windsor and Diesel Junkies
Jacky-Boy sitting down by the docks, he's got a
Heart filled with gold and a head full of rocks,
And he met a girl, he'll be marrying her some day
Times are tough, and working is down
Nobody's keeping warm in this here town
So he got a gun, he'll be marrying her someday
Everybody knows you can settle all your woes
With a cold blue steel, when it's trigger you can feel you better
Have some luck before you pull that pin
Because there's no getting out once you're done getting in.
Two years out, three lives in
Nobody's keeping count when you're betting on sin
But ol' Jacky knows, that he'll be marrying her someday
He pulls the gun from under his coat
He puts the muzzle to the back of his throat
And he, kisses it softly
Puts himself away
Everybody knows you can settle all your woes
With a cold blue steel, when it's trigger you can feel you better
Have some luck before you pull that pin
Because there's no getting out once you're done getting in.
